With the new ownership and ambitious growth plans, MAAG Gear is looking for an experienced Lead Generator Specialist to develop market opportunities. 

To fulfill the objectives set for this position, it is necessary to follow the strategies and guidelines laid down by management and the line manager in each case. On this position you will be desired to create new lead opportunities to Sales Team. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the required standards of quality within relevant legal and operational framework. 

Despite being able to work independently, it is necessary for the incumbent to form partnerships with other sections, departments and groups, creating trust-based relationships that will facilitate success.

Lead Generator Specialist

Experience in sales, lead generation, or customer outreach (B2B or B2C).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable with cold calling and digital outreach.

Skill in identifying which prospects are most likely to convert using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) or CHAMP (Challenges, Authority, Money, Prioritization).

Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems. Use of tools like LinkedIn and sales intelligence platforms

Self-driven with strong organizational and time management skills.

Fluent in English and local language (or adjust based on company needs).

Ability to gather and analyze information about industries, companies, and decision-makers.

Reports to Head of Region / Head of Aftermarket

Peers on the Sales team, Service, Engineering, Project management, Offering, Clients

Research and identify potential clients through various channels (online platforms, databases, industry events).

Identify potential leads from historical data base in CRM.

Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods. 

Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule meetings for the sales team. 

Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities and lead status in CRM systems.

Collaborate with sales representatives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads. 

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Support marketing and sales campaigns with targeted outreach.

Qualified Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential customers who match the ideal buyer profile. Deliver a consistent flow of qualified leads to the sales team.

Pipeline Growth: Expand the sales pipeline with new opportunities, ensure a healthy mix of short-term and long-term prospects.

Initial Contact and Engagement: Successfully initiate conversations with prospects via email, phone, or social media, Achieve high response and engagement rates from outreach efforts.

Lead Qualification: Accurately assess prospect needs, budget, decision-making authority, and timeline. Use qualification frameworks to prioritize leads.

Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery calls or meetings for sales representatives. Maintain a high conversion rate from outreach to scheduled appointments.

CRM Accuracy and Activity Tracking: Keep detailed records of prospecting activities, lead status, and communication history. Ensure data integrity in CRM systems to support forecasting and reporting.

Market Intelligence: Gather insights on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points. Share findings with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and strategy. 

Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Align prospecting efforts with current campaigns and sales goals. Provide feedback on lead quality and outreach effectiveness.

Oil Lubrication Engineer

Strong at mechanical engineering, lubrication, hydraulics, measuring techniques and instrumentation

Excellent understanding of hydraulic components and flow principles, viscosity, filtration, heat balance, cooling and heating equipment, sensors, measuring instruments, signal processing, interlocking etc.

Pragmatic, problem-solving and proactive approach

Collaboration with internal teams in Italy, Poland and Switzerland

Adaptive behavior to match with several specific situations and problems

Specification and layout of oil supply systems for lubrication and control of large gear systems

Review of customer specifications and its application for the definition of the systems for specific orders

Design review and cost optimization of oil supply and control systems

Risk assessments for new designs and system changes

Development of new oil supply and control systems for new gear developments

Calculation and evaluation of related hydraulic components like pumps, coolers, filters, valves, pipings, tanks, breathers, switches, flow meters and connected instrumentation

Ensuring safety and reliability for the gear systems by surveying key operation data and an interlocking concept

Adaptation and modification of existing oil supply and interlocking systems to the site-specific needs in replacement projects

Technical product specific project management for new drive systems, replacement gears or spare parts

Clarifications with clients, sales, procurement, suppliers and project management for offers and new orders

Strong collaboration with gear designers, purchasing and suppliers of oil lubrication systems

Generation of technical documents like flow sheets, signal charts, outline drawings, component drawings, parts lists etc.

Support for service and gear designers at commissioning and troubleshooting

Customer contact during offerings, project execution and troubleshooting

Strong partnership with procurement and suppliers of lubrication systems and components

Technical specification, evaluation and selection of products

Technical support for procurement activities in cost reduction and supplier qualification

Driving for cost efficiency but at the same time for required reliability of systems and components

Field Service Engineer

MAAG Gear is looking to attract an experienced Service Engineer with great technical skills.

A BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience) and at least 5+ years of field service experience in the machine building Industry, preferably gearbox manufacturing

Deep knowledge of gears and rotating parts,

Honest and self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Outgoing personality and enjoys networking and meeting new people and different cultures.

Ability to interact with personnel across multiple levels in both MAAG Gear’s and our customer’s organizations.

Availability and willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time, including international travels and to remote areas where mines and cement plants are often located.

Ability to tolerate stress due to challenging timelines.

Ability to work legally in the location of interest

Good physical health with ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and lift weight of up to 55 lbs. (25 kgs).

Good vision with ability to identify colors.

Solution oriented with the ability to analyze service requirements and make decisions necessary to achieve successful results.

Professionally execute installation, inspection and overhaul of gearboxes, couplings, lubrication units and auxiliaries.

Conduct customer and internal training as appropriate.

Maintain equipment and site location records.

Provide technical support to MAAG Gear Customer Service Project Managers and to MAAG’s customers.

Prepare concise technical reports from site visits, including recommendations relating to further actions and spare parts.

Accurately maintain timesheets to document work performed.

Maintain needed safety certification and comply with all MAAG Gear, customer and legislated safety policies and regulations.

Area Sales Manager

A BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience) and 5+ years of experience selling power transmission products into the Mining Industry

Deep knowledge of Mining Industry and the Purchasing Culture of the industry

Fluent in English (speak, read, write). The ability to communicate in Spanish will be considered an advantage.

Strong communication skills and able to communicate at all levels within an organization

Highly developed Sales and Negotiation skills

Presentation skills and confidence to present to large groups of people

Experience in selling large gears and mechanical drive technology

Ability to conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting on gearing.

Availability and willingness to travel approximately 45% of the time, including occasional international travel and to remote areas where mines are often located.
