Successful Test Run and Customer Visit at MAAG Gear Production Unit

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Celso Carvalho, Maintenance Manager at the Itambé plant, to our production unit for the successful test run of the WPU gearbox.

Customer visits during critical project milestones are always valuable moments. They provide the opportunity to review technical results together, align expectations, and strengthen the partnership built throughout the project lifecycle.

A Project Driven by Collaboration

This project was expertly managed by Marli Pequeno, Regional Sales Manager for South America, in close coordination with Dominika Kryszylowicz from MAAG Gear’s Project Management Department. Their collaboration ensured smooth communication, precise execution, and full alignment between technical requirements and customer expectations.

During the visit, Mr. Carvalho had the opportunity to see the gearbox in operation, review the test results, and gain direct insight into MAAG Gear’s manufacturing processes and industrial facilities.

From Test Run to Global Delivery

Following the successful test run, the WPU gearbox was carefully packed and prepared for transport. It was then loaded onto a barge and began its journey to the port of Hamburg, marking the next step toward final delivery.

This phase reflects MAAG Gear’s commitment not only to engineering excellence, but also to meticulous handling and logistics—ensuring that every solution reaches its destination safely and on schedule.
